when, where, and what time is the event?

The King City Stampede will be held on February 23-24, 2024 in the Rava Barn at the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds. Doors will open at 5:00pm to enjoy the Wine & Beer Corral for our 21+ rodeo fans, as well as boutique shopping. Mutton busting will begin at 6:00pm, followed by our professional rodeo at 7:00pm.

will there be parking?

Yes! There will be parking available on grounds in the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds Parking Lot off Division Street. Parking is first come, first served and $10.

where can we buy tickets?

Tickets will be sold in person at participating locations:

will there be an after party?

Yes! Following the professional rodeo on Saturday, February 24th, dance the night away, sing, and have fun with a LIVE band! This year we are welcoming Southbound 101.

can we bring our dogs?

NO. For the safety of all involved, no dogs or other pets are allowed on grounds during the King City Stampede.

are lawn chairs or personal seating allowed?

NO. There will be grandstands for all rodeo enthusiasts, as well as ADA seating.

can we bring in outside food or drink?

NO outside food or drinks will be allowed. We will have great food vendor options, beverages to choose from, and the Wine & Beer Corral for our 21+ guests.

how do we get entrance into the vip area?

The VIP area is reserved for our sponsors. If you are interested in sponsoring the King City Stampede, please contact us.

what payments do you accept?

We have the ability to accept cash and card on-site, as do our vendors.

do you require clear bags?

We will begin implementing a clear bag policy this year, and we highly recommend bringing one.

what is not permitted on grounds?

Weapons (including pocket knives), Laser Pointers, Artificial Noisemakers, Professional Cameras (including detachable lenses), Video Cameras (including Go Pro type video cameras), Banners and Signs, Outside Food and Drinks, Cans or Glass Bottles & Personal Coolers, Umbrellas, Seat Cushions, Pets- only Service Animals allowed

All bags, jackets, and blankets will be searched.
